Middle East Travel Update

We understand that the evolving situation in the Middle East may be causing concern for some travellers. Please be assured that Value Added Travel is closely monitoring all developments and remains fully committed to supporting customers affected by recent updates. The safety and wellbeing of all travellers continues to be the highest priority.

If a booking is impacted, customers will be contacted directly in departure-date order once the latest information has been confirmed with the airline. This ensures that all available options can be clearly outlined. Patience is greatly appreciated while bookings are reviewed and processed sequentially.

Balance Payments and Booking Options

For customers with an outstanding balance, reassurance is provided regarding available options once payment has been completed.

Package Holidays: In the event of cancellation prior to travel, suitable alternatives, deferred travel, credit options, or a full refund will be offered. Additionally, if the UK Foreign, Commonwealth & Development Office (FCDO) advises against travel within seven days of departure, a range of options will be made available, including the right to a refund.

Accommodation-Only Bookings: If travel advice changes closer to departure after full payment, amendments will be offered where possible. Alternatively, a credit note may be issued in line with supplier terms. Refunds apply only where accommodation is unable to operate, such as in the case of a hotel closure.

If a balance payment is not preferred, options for changing travel dates or destinations may be reviewed in line with standard terms. Where changes are not feasible, cancellations will be processed according to the applicable cancellation policy.

Value Added Travel continues to work closely with airline partners and in-destination teams to provide timely support and guidance. Appreciation is extended for continued patience and cooperation during this period.
