From Disney’s original Magic Kingdom Park, where you can meet famous faces Mickey and Minnie Mouse, Donald Duck and even Lilo and Stich, to the fascinating Animal Kingdom park packed with thrilling rides and the magnificent Tree of Life, the Disney parks have something for everyone. Disney’s Epcot is Orlando’s resident utopian theme park. Epcot encapsulates two parks: Future World, which offers futuristic experiences that include space and fantasy themed attractions, and World Showcase, which features experiences along the lagoon.

Hollywood Studios features iconic entertainment and attractions from some of the company’s best-selling and most famous movies. Find fantastic character experiences, props and sets from the films and spend the day pretending to be an A-Lister.

If water parks are more your thing – visit Typhoon Lagoon and Blizzard Beach. These waterparks offer everything from wave machines, animal experiences, child-friendly rides and daring water slides, making them the perfect destination for a chilled but exciting day in Orlando.

Universal Studios

Visit the Universal Studios resorts in Orlando for the ultimate theme park experience. Geared towards the thrill-seekers and movie super fans, Universal Studios places every guest at the centre of their experience and the three theme parks ensure that you are spoilt for choice when it comes to your studio adventure.

Winner of the TripAdvisor’s Traveller’s Choice Award for the world’s best amusement park for four years running, Universal’s Islands of Adventure is the ultimate destination for classic movie fans looking for an unforgettable experience. Discover the Jurassic Park or the award-winning Wizarding World of Harry Potter and put yourself in the movies. Marvel superfans will be in their element in the heart of a Marvel comic book in Marvel Superhero Island, where guests have the ability to meet their favourite superhero’s and experience some of the world’s greatest rollercoasters.

Universal’s Volcano Bay provides a retreat from the bustle of the parks. This tropical paradise is a new water land experience that places the guest in the centre of an exotically themed waterslide universe, with rides suitable for all ages for some good old-fashioned family fun.

Universal City Walk

One of our favourite Universal attractions is the City Walk. This area of the park is filled to the brim with unparalleled dining and shopping experiences that make for the perfect evening activity.

SeaWorld Resorts Orlando

For the animal enthusiasts in your family, SeaWorld, Discovery Cove and Busch Gardens are the perfect destination.

SeaWorld Parks and Resorts include parks such as SeaWorld and Discovery Cove, which are marine parks situated in Orlando. The parks combine zoological and theme park attractions. At these parks you can enjoy 1-1 animal experience, listen to expert-talks from the animal carers, or experience the aquatic-themed rollercoasters of the parks.

The third of the parks in this show-stopping group of resorts is Aquatica – a magnificent waterpark. Named Orlando’s Best Waterpark, Aquatica combines marine life with thrilling waterslides, including rides such as Dolphin Plunge and Ray Rush. With a dedicated kid-friendly area, this park provides the perfect mix of entertainment and thrill-seeking attractions for all the family.

Central Florida Zoo and Botanical Gardens

If theme parks aren’t your thing – or maybe you just fancy a break from the intense entertainment, Orlando offers a range of attractions that are perfect for a day of winding down. Central Florida Zoo and Botanical Gardens is home to more than 500 unique animal species, housed in over 23 acres of tropical gardens.

Great for the little ones, the zoo features reptiles, insects, and a petting zoo, making a hugely educational and interactive experience.

The Orlando Sports Scene

The variety doesn’t stop there. Orlando is a great destination for sports fans. Soccer fans can head downtown and visit Orlando City Soccer stadium. The city of Orlando has a rich sporting history, with the soccer team at the heart of this. Basketball lovers can also visit The Amway Centre: if you’re visiting between October and April, make sure to get yourself down to the centre to catch the season!
