Frequently Asked Questions
Do I Need A Passport For A Cruise From The UK?
Yes, even if the cruise only visits places within the British Isles Common Travel Area (England, Scotland, Wales, Ireland, The Isle of Man and The Channel Islands), you must still take your passport.
What’s The Best Length Of Time For A Cruise?
There isn’t really a ‘best’ length of time, but we would recommend 5 days as a minimum, and a week for a more complete experience. Some cruises can be 10 days, or even 2 weeks in length, so you can escape for longer and see a range of incredible places.
How Far In Advance Should I Book For The Best Price?
Between 6 and 12 months is the ideal amount of time to book ahead. However, you may be able to get an even better deal by allowing even more time, especially if your cruise has a big itinerary. Alternatively, if you’re not as firm on where you want to travel to, you may be able to secure some fantastic last minute deals! We’re always happy to advise, and our extensive links in the travel industry mean we’ll always be able to get you the best price.
When Is The Cheapest Time To Go On A Cruise?
If you book far enough ahead of time then you should be able to get a fantastic price any time of year, but typically the best deals are to be had on cruises departing during the so called ‘wave season’ at the start of the year. This lasts from January until March.
