Istanbul City Tour – 4 Days/3 Nights

- Upon landing in Istanbul at Sabiha Gokcen Airport, guests will be met by their driver and transferred to the Sura Hagia Sophia Hotel – an approximately 1 hour transfer.
- Guests will then be able to check into the hotel for their first overnight stay.

- Buffet breakfast at the hotel from 7:30am
- Pick up at 8:30am from the hotel for a full day tour of old Istanbul City, where you will visit:

• The Hippodrome of Constantinople – otherwise known as SultanAhmet Square. The functionality of this location once served as a circus, the sporting and social centre of the Byzantine Empire’s capital, hosting chariot races and riots. Although no longer an arena, the decorative fountains, Egyptian obelisk, and Kaiser Wilhelm Pavilion are indicative of the varying historical happenings that took place here.
• The Blue Mosque – otherwise known as Sultan Ahmet Mosque. This Ottoman-era structure is still a functioning place of worship; however, it attracts many tourists due to its ancient architecture and holy contents of which date back to 1609, the start of Ahmed I’s ruling.
• St Sophia Museum – otherwise known as Hagia Sophia or Church of the Holy Wisdom, was once a mosque, turned into a museum and now has been returned to a mosque once again. The building reflects the religious alterations that have made over time across the region, showcasing marvellous minarets and inscriptions of Islam, combined with distinct Christian mosaics.
• Topkapi Palace – otherwise known as the Seraglio. This fortress looking stature is now a large museum depicting Ottoman architecture. Its name comes from its castle appearance, including various low buildings surrounded by courtyards and gardens. It houses imperial collections of the Ottoman empire along with extensive book collections and manuscripts.

- Lunch will take place at a traditional Turkish restaurant; drinks however are not included.
- After the tour guests will be transferred back to the hotel and informed of the optional evening shows and Bosphorus Cruise tours available.

- After breakfast at the hotel, guests are free to enjoy a full day in Istanbul – for activity, attraction or restaurant recommendations please speak to your tour guide or hotel concierge.
- Final overnight stay.

- After breakfast at the hotel, guests will be asked to check out where they will then be transferred back to the airport for their flight back to the UK.
