Scheduled - Tour of the Falls

No surprise why Victoria Falls is one of the seven Natural Wonders of the World. You'll understand it instantly as we tour the Zimbabwean side, for there are numerous spectacular vantage points along the width of the Falls, and the sight of this astounding gift of nature, simply takes your breath away. Walk through the permanent, beautifully misty rain forest which flanks the Falls, stopping to marvel at the principal sites as it cascades to the depths below the Main Falls, Horseshoe Falls, Rainbow Falls, the Boiling Pot, Cataract Island and Livingstone Island. We'll stand and watch, feel and listen to the spray and thunderous noise, as millions of litres of water tumble over the Falls into a series of narrow gorges below. The seventh Natural Wonder of the World puts on the most dramatic show for you, and you'll be privileged to have watched it.

The best time to visit

The best time to visit Mauritius is from May to October for dry, cooler weather ideal for hiking and sightseeing, or October to December for warmer, sunny beach days with lower humidity. While it is a year-round destination, May-September offers the most settled weather.

April is a good time to visit Mauritius, marking the transition from summer to the cooler, drier winter season. You can expect warm temperatures (23°C to 28°C), plenty of sunshine, and significantly lower cyclone risk than in Jan-March.

The best time for a holiday in Chobe National Park is during the dry season from May to October, when large herds of elephants and other wildlife gather along the Chobe River, offering peak game viewing. September and October are ideal for maximum sightings Chobe National Park can be visited year-round as wildlife migrates through the park with the seasons. The Savuti area, in particular, is excellent all year. The Chobe Riverfront is best visited in the Dry season (April to October), especially from August onward.

The best time to visit Victoria Falls in Zimbabwe depends on your preference for high-volume, dramatic views or lower-water, high-adrenaline activities. Generally, February to May offers peak flow after the rains, while August to January is ideal for white-water rafting, Devil's Pool, and better, less-misted visibility.

April is an excellent time to visit Victoria Falls, widely considered one of the best months for viewing. Following the rainy season, the falls are at peak flow, creating a thunderous, dramatic spectacle with maximum spray and vibrant green surroundings, though you should expect to get soaked while viewing them
