FIFA world cup Format

The FIFA World Cup consists of a round-robin group and knockout format in which 8 groups of 4 teams must compete to finish first or second in the respective group. These teams then go forward to the last 16 knockout phases and subsequently compete in individual games until one team wins the final.

How to travel in Qatar

To enter Qatar from Saudi Arabia you will first require a Hayya card. This card will allow access to the stadium for the World Cup games (in addition to the match ticket) in addition to free use of Qatar’s public transport systems like shuttle Bus and Doha Metro. Match tickets will also have to be purchased separately for stadium entry.
