The Abu Dhabi Grand Prix is set to welcome around 60,000 spectators, and it’s clear that is an event you don’t want to miss… go, go go!

Dubai Expo 2020

Whilst this isn’t strictly held in Abu Dhabi, as one of the biggest events in the United Arab Emirate’s calendar, we just had to mention it.

Dubai Expo 2020 is situated just an hour away from Abu Dhabi in the neighbouring emirate of Dubai. A favourite for all, Expo 2020 brings together visitors from all over the world and is hailed as one of the biggest cultural gatherings on earth!

The Expo itself will last around 6 months, so don’t worry, if you’re planning to visit the United Arab Emirates any time soon, you’re sure to be able to secure a space. Unfortunately, due to the world-wide pandemic, the Expo was unable to take place back in 2020, so we absolutely recommend you make the most of this fantastic opportunity and event.

From the 1st of October 2021 to the 31st Of March 2022. This Expo will take place at the Abu Dhabi National Exhibition Centre, and will bring people together to admire the social improvement, culture, and achievements on development of countries and communities.

The Grand Opening of Al Qana

This year sees the grand opening of the mesmerising Al Qana, too. Located in the heart of the Emirate, and set along the waterfront, Al Qana is set to become home to a cinema complex, an amphitheatre, and even the largest aquarium in the Middle East.

Discover immersive shows, unique experiences and live performances that you’ll never forget at Al Qana and be the envy of all your friends. This Abu Dhabi attraction is not to be missed.

Abu Dhabi Cricket World Cup

This year, Abu Dhabi has been selected as the heart of the T20 Cricket World Cup. Last World Cup, nearly four-years ago, the England side lost to competitors West Indies in the last over, after an incredible four competitive sixes… so the result of this year’s competition is hotly anticipated.

The Abu Dhabi Cricket World cup is being held at the Sheikh Zayed Stadium in Abu Dhabi, which cost a mammoth $22 million to build, and is one of the finest cricket grounds in the world. Located just 30 minutes from the centre, this is one of the year’s unmissable Abu Dhabi upcoming events.
