Dubai Holidays (NOVEMBER - 2010)
- We have just returned from a lovely holiday staying with you again – thank you so much for your hospitality and excellent service, as always.
It was very sad that Shaikh Saqr passed away while we were with you and, coupled with the tragedies in Indonesia, some members of staff seemed very upset. We do hope that none of their relatives were affected and we hope that Shaikh Saud does as much for RAK and the people as his father did.
I apologise that I was unable to produce the voucher for our rooms (409 and 410) but I have attached what I was sent in March. I hope this is sufficient. If not, perhaps you would be kind enough to contact our agent at Value Added Travel (who I have copied into this email) and I am sure he will be able to address the issue.
Thank you once again for making our holiday special, our first with our new Granddaughter. We look forward to seeing you all again soon.
Also, please send our good wishes to Bernard and Guru as we didn’t get the opportunity to say goodbye properly

Westin Dubai Mina Seyahi Beach Resort (OCTOBER - 2010)
- Hi Sonia, How are you? We got back yesterday afternoon. Very tired! Had a fantastic time thx. Hotel was great. It was quite busy last week. Then I think a lot of the kids went back to school at the weekend, so Mon and Tues was pretty quiet around the pool.
The room was great, perfect size for us. Housekeeping was very efficient there, with the baby sitting etc. The kids really liked the ladies that looked after them. I had a facial in the spa there, which was really relaxing. There is a great bar in the hotel, which got really busy and played good music. We went for Friday Brunch at The Al Qasr with Steve's friend and wife, which was amazing!!!!! Will def be going back to brunch there, next time we are over. We got the bulk head seats, many thx for that. But still poor Steve had Elsa on his lap for most of the flight, there and back, so next yr will be easier as she will have her own seat. The Blue Orange restaurant where we ate for the half board dinner and sometime for breakfast was fantastic! The choice of food was great, and Grace is a fussy eater. But there was something for everyone. The staffs were great. The Exec Club room was ok, i had breakfast in there a few times, but there wasn’t too much for kids to eat. i.e. no cereals etc. just porridge and the atmosphere in there was a little 'stuffy'.
I think I personally prefer the Ritz Carlton, Al Qasr and One & Only, but generally we love Dubai so much and have never had a bad time anywhere there.

Le Méridien Al Aqah Beach Resort (OCTOBER - 2010)
- HI Sonia, So sorry I meant to email you on Monday and got carried away with hundreds of work emails!!
We had a superb time, thank you, -I have put a comment on trip advisor! It was excellent, the staff were brilliant, food beautiful, they were very generous to Adam on his birthday, a cocktail (for us both) dessert in the steak bar, a lovely rose petal decorated bed and a card from our room boy and 2 glasses of champagne in the morning for us to enjoy before brekkie, how fab!
I thought they paid a lot of attention to detail, what a pleasure it was, the only thing is that they restrict the all inclusive drinks to the pool bar and the “canteen” (main restaurant- which incidentally I thought was run excellently, probably the second best food we have had on hols), so a tad disappointing but certainly didn’t spoil the hols.
We enjoy going to new places but would have no hesitation on returning or to recommend this to others.
We’re looking at Kenya, perhaps a safari and a beach break for 2011? When is the best time to go so it’s not too hot there and a good time to see the animals at their best?

Amwaj Rotana Jumeirah Beach Dubai (SEPTEMBER - 2010)
- Good morning Michelle, have now returned from our holiday in Dubai to a cold, wet UK. The hotel was fantastic as you had advised, and the location was ideal; being located at the end of the walk. I left a letter for Mr. Omar on our departure thanking him and all staff for a fabulous holiday, and sending him your regards. I have also received an email from Mr. Omar asking for our feedback to which I have replied with excellent reviews and also congratulating the service of certain individuals in the horizon restaurant. Although the hotel did not have its own private beach it did not proturb as we only spent 3 days at the poolside...the other days visiting malls/Burj Kalifa/souks/Dubai creek etc. it is indeed a hugh city with many attributes...but Christine and i most enjoyed the sights rather than a beach holiday. Glad you advised the half board basis and the standard of cuisine even surpassed that of royal Caribbean/princess cruises. Alcohol was indeed expensive as we already knew...but what the heck we were on holiday. Only problem we have is where to go next year...will phone yourself this afternoon for a chat...my thanks for your superb service...will definitely be booking next year with Value Added Travel...only question to where?

Heritage Awali, Mauritius and Atlantis the Palm, Dubai
- We had a great time!!!!!!!!! Mauritius was the best – hotel staffs were brilliant, great food and drink. Dubai was O.K but in comparison to Mauritius was not as enjoyable. The hotel was great, but the food was not the best and the alcohol was very expensive. A380 Business Class was unreal and felt very special. Michelle, you were brilliant and are a credit to your company. I would defiantly use Value Added Travel again and hope to do so in the near future!

Hilton Ras al Khaimah Resort & Spa (AUGUST - 2010)
- We had a wonderful time. This was the 4th time we have been to The Hilton Beach Resort & Spa with Value Added Travel so we knew what to expect and it didn't disappoint. The flights were excellent as were the transfers. As it was our 45th wedding anniversary we were upgraded to a beach front junior suite which was superb. The staffs are all very friendly and helpful and some of them remembered us. The food was very good as usual.
The fact that this was our 4th visit shows how highly we rate this resort and Value Added Travels service. Should we decide to make a 5th visit we will be in touch.

Le Royal Meridien Beach Resort&Spa Dubai (AUGUST - 2010)
- We have returned from a fantastic holiday in Dubai that we booked with you. The hotel was amazing, we even had a complimentary upgrade to a 2 bedroom suite. We would like to thank you for the very professional service that you provided when booking our holiday, everything went very smoothly. While we were away my boyfriend proposed to me, we had such a great time that we may go back to Le Royal Meridien for our honeymoon!
We have decided to get married in Las Vegas June 2011 and due to the excellent service that you provided for our last holiday, we wondered if your company also delt with group bookings to the USA? We're not looking to book just yet as we haven't decided on a wedding chapel, but as we're starting to plan ideas we wondered whether in a few months time you would be able to supply a quote for our arrangements. We would be looking to book for approx 18-20 people to Las Vegas (possibly the Bellagio Hotel for 8 nights) and then a honeymoon in Dubai or a Dubai twin centre holiday for 2. Marriott Dubai Harbour Hotel & Suites (FEBRUARY - 2010)- Had to let you know what a wonderful holiday we had in Dubai. Flights and transfers were great. Marriott Hotel was fabulous the suite was enormous and wonderful for the children rather than being cramped in one room. Staff couldn't do enough for us.
Luckily I printed off your email saying we could use beach and facilities at Royal Meridian as they said this deal had finished as the hotel had been taken over by Marriott. But when I showed them your email it was fine and we went every day in transport provided by the hotel. Fabulous as we got to meet John Terry there and my 11 yr old son had a game of football with him!!
