New Diamond First class
Etihad has redefined luxury air travel even further following the unveiling of its new Diamond First Class cabin. The new cabin contains individual suites, which have been designed to provide customers with more privacy, greater comfort and increased storage. You can begin enjoying the experience from August 2009, when the suite is fitted onto a brand new A340-600
Features of the new Diamond First Class cabin
- 82 inch long private suite with a 80.5 inches fully flat bed, with bed width of 29.75 inches and seat width of 22 inches.
- Each suite with Arabic styled sliding privacy doors.
- 23 inch personal TV/video screen, with in-flight entertainment system that allows customers to pause, stop, fast-forward or rewind up to 600 hours of films, TV and radio programmes, and play games.
- Personal mini bar
- Illuminated wardrobe with a personal mirror
- In-seat massager, lumbar support and adjustable headrest
- Special compartment areas where customers can stow their belongings
- Poltrona Frau leather upholstered seat cover and ottoman
- Extra large (24 inches by 25 inches) wood finished meal table
- In-seat power sockets for PCs, iPod connector, USB ports, Ethernet port and audio jack
- Luxury bathroom with full length mirror, raised wash basin and leather fold-down changing room seat
- Luxurious soft furnishings and designer amenity kits

Our 15-inch personal LCD screens - the largest in comparable cabins in the industry - add a whole new dimension to entertainment in the air. You can also catch up with work as you travel: our new Pearl Business seat has power access, USB ports and an RCA socket so you can connect your laptop and work the hours away.
Coral Economy class
Coral Economy class offers a combination of space, comfort and warm service of the highest standards.
Ergonomically designed seats with lumbar support, headrests and footrests offer an easy, relaxed way to travel. And the cradle recline feature lets you lean back in a more natural position. With a seat pitch of up to 33 inches, our new Coral Economy class seat exceeds industry standards; it is also among the widest and most spacious in comparable cabins.
Coral Economy class guests can look forward to over 350 hours of world-class entertainment with our advanced audio-video-on-demand system. Our 10.4-inch personal LCD screens - the largest in comparable cabins in the industry - add a whole new dimension to entertainment in the air.
PC power outlets, USB ports and RJ 45 sockets in all seats allow you to connect your laptop and catch up with work as you fly. On certain aircraft, you will even have access to our in-flight telephony system, offering a truly seamless travel experience.
